I teach practical concepts for making positive change.

Welcome Friends,

In life, a simple truth is that there is no growth without difficulties; growth requires that we have something about ourselves to change.  Moreover, no one has ever grown well without the support and care of others.  As a Human Development Educator, it is my great honor to support the growth of my clients, as they learn to master critical struggles.

My approach is practical, instructive, and compassionate, focusing on how to get relief, by thinking clearly and comprehensively about the difficulties in your life.  I work with individuals who are motivated to grow their way out of the negative habits that keep us stuck in cycles of depression, anxiety, addiction, chronic stress, and interpersonal conflicts.  I work with families striving to learn how to resolve conflict, based on emotional composure arising from effective self-governance.  I work with organizations committed to developing policies and practices that balance mission with the healthy human development of their workforce.

My methodology is contemplative, centered on teaching how it is that unconscious patterns at the root of negative habits in how we think and feel promote conflict at the expense of positive self-worth, healthy families, and well-functioning organizations. By practicing self-observation, my clients learn to recognize these patterns, and build the strength to transform them into positive, health-supporting habits, through the power of conscious choice-making.

My philosophy is that the best guidance for any challenge we may face must be elegantly simple, yet powerfully comprehensive, allowing for wide-ranging application of a few core concepts.  Accordingly, the practical concepts that I teach are simple tools to help you better organize how you think about the complex issues that challenge you, so that you can better manage how you feel, and thereby, how you behave.

In my consultations then with individuals, groups, and organizations, I will reliably reflect:

  • Outstanding understanding, for analyzing the dynamics of conflict-resolution; particularly addressing how psychology positively or negatively affects individual and family identities, attitudes, beliefs, choices, and behaviors; regarding personal and interactive outcomes.

  • Sound orientations to practical and spiritual approaches to wisdom; applicable to attaining healthful resolutions to complex challenges; such as found in addiction, anxiety, depression, and chronic stress, in intra-personal and interpersonal conflicts.

  • Strong competencies regarding vocational settings; where balance needs to be achieved, between personal, collective, supervisory, and employee relations.

  • Sensitive, trustworthy attention paid to maintaining consistent respect for privacy.

The Art of Contemplative Self-Cultivation

Perspectacles® Podcast

The Perspectacles® Podcast is an ongoing contemplative conversation, held between a father, Rev. Gola Wolf Richards, and his son, Rev. Ryan W. Richards; focused on the idea that we must learn to save ourselves collectively, from ourselves as individuals; based on addressing all conflicts, grounded in a higher orientation to consciousness; where in theory and in practice: As timeliness in self-cultivation is framed within the most holistic range of concerns that compassion can reach, the character of our moral self-cultivation is central, to how Yin/Yang dynamics of universal reciprocity evolve interlacing pathways, to exceed how hell will otherwise continue to thrive, where heaven fails to grow.
